Sleep Calculator (sleepcalculator.today) is a free website that helps you work out the best time to go to bed, wake up or take a nap. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use the site, why it is collected, and the choices you have.
Short version: you don't need an account, and the times, settings and answers you enter into our tools stay in your own browser. We don't receive or store them. Like most free websites, we use cookies for advertising and basic visitor statistics.

Information you enter into our tools
The sleep calculator, nap calculator, sleep debt calculator, chronotype quiz and sleep sounds all run entirely inside your browser. The times, hours of sleep and quiz answers you enter are never sent to our server.
To make the tools more convenient, some preferences are saved in your browser's local storage, for example:
- your calculator settings (time to fall asleep, cycle length, time format and age group)
- the hours you entered in the sleep debt calculator
- whether you chose light or dark mode
This data stays on your device. You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this website.
Information collected automatically
When you visit any website, some technical information is shared automatically. Our hosting provider may keep this information in server logs for security and performance purposes.
